Academic background
Her extensive academic training includes a degree in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua, studies in English Legal Methods with an emphasis on Private International Law and Law of Torts- University of Cambridge, England, a Master’s degree in Criminal Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, as an Expert in Economic and Corporate Property Crime from the Universidad Autónoma de
Madrid and an Expert in General Theory of Crime from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Likewise, the master’s degree in Procedural Law from the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. As well as the diploma in International Maritime Law at World Maritime University (Sweden, Malmo) in collaboration with Lloyds Maritime Academy (London, England) and the diploma in Accusatory Criminal System at the University of Panama.

In her social projection has worked with alternative methods of resocialization for inmates in the Republic of Panama.
